makes a lot of sense.. that he kills and ambushes those guys for the past 40 chapters and they also try to kill him on every occasion , and now he decides to join them and they just let him in? and he even passes the first test? and they would never suspect him of trying to infiltrate and learn more about those guys he was following the whole time... but its a donghua, so its normal to have weirdass plotholes

I think some guys in that group wanted to mc to get strong and kill the lord so they could take the seat. it has been said in the before episodes so I think thats why they let mc in
O here I thought he was pretending to capture her, only to help her escape.
